- This is a Sources Sought Notice for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate set-aside and acquisition method. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award an IDIQ type contract for a base period with options to the successful offeror using FAR Part 12 commercial items procedures. The NAICS code is 325413 and the successful vendor must be registered in the SAM with this NAICS. The requirement is for virus identification test kits with the following minimum requirements: 1) shall provide weekly live tissue tube cultures of MRC-5, A549 and primary rhesus monkey kidney cell lines; 2) shall provide weekly live tissue shell vial cultures of MRC-5; 3) shall provide the cell culture media to maintain all the cell lines; 4) shall provide direct antibody conjugates for respiratory viral identification in cell cultures of: adenovirus, parainfluenza 1, parainfluenza 2, parainfluenza 3, influenza A, influenza B and respiratory syncytial virus; 5) shall provide direct antibody conjugates for less than hour identification in patient nasopharyngeal samples for rapid clinical diagnoses of: respiratory viral identification of: adenovirus, parainfluenza, human metapneumovirus, influenza A, influenza B and respiratory syncytial virus; 6) shall provide human metapneumovirus samples for proficiency assessments twice a year. Interested vendors may submit in writing their capabilities and qualifications demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement identified in this notice. Responses to this notice must refer to the solicitation number indicated above and include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Donna Tomita, Contract Specialist, email donna.f.tomita.civ@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 02 Aug 2019 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time.
