- WATER INTAKE AND STORAGE UPGRADES, LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, TEHAMA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. The National Park Service, Lassen Volcanic National Park, has a requirement for the upgrade of the water intake and storage in the headquarters area of the park. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to this solicitation. Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 237110, with a corresponding size standard of $36.5 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from HUBZone small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered. The work of this contract consists of labor, materials, and equipment required for the replacement of portions of the Lassen National Park Headquarters and Town of Mineral raw water lines and diversion improvements. The work includes but is not limited to installation of 6-inch & 8-inch PVC raw water line at a varied depth, installation of two diversion boxes, installation of a subsurface intake near the Martin Creek Diversion, and improvements at the Headquarters Water Tank. This project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for installation of the 6-inch DR-14 C900 PVC water main as shown on the Drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of excess material, excavation, dewatering, removal of old pipe materials, bedding, backfill, compaction, piping, fittings, tracer wire and boxes, erosion control measures, pressure testing, flushing, surface restoration and all other work necessary to complete the installation. The project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for installation of the 8-inch DR-14 C900 PVC water main as shown on the Drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of excess material, excavation, dewatering, removal of old pipe materials, bedding, backfill, compaction, piping, fittings, tracer wire and boxes, erosion control measures, pressure testing, flushing, surface restoration and all other work necessary to complete the installation. The project consists of consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for installation of the Interconnection Box and connection piping as shown on the Drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of excess material, excavation, dewatering, removal of old pipe materials, bedding, backfill, compaction, piping, fittings, precast concrete box, overflow, canalgates, grating, erosion control measures, surface restoration and all other work necessary to complete the installation. The project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for installation of the Martin Creek Diversion Box and connection piping as shown on the Drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of excess material, excavation, dewatering, removal of old pipe materials, bedding, backfill, compaction, piping, fittings, precast concrete box, canalgates, grating, erosion control measures, surface restoration and all other work necessary to complete the installation. The project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for installation of the Subsurface Intake and piping as shown on the Drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of excess material, excavation, dewatering, silica sand material, perforated piping, non-perforated risers, backfill, compaction, fittings, erosion control measures, surface restoration and all other work necessary to complete the installation. The project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the installation of a floor slab in the west tank concrete tank and other miscellaneous improvements as shown on the Drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, surface preparation, concrete work, and all other work necessary to complete the installation. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, testing, and supplies to perform the replacement and related services as identified within the specifications document and any additional documents or requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required to successfully complete the work. An organized site tour has been scheduled - see Section L for more information.
