Description

Southwest Regional Maintenance Center Procurement Code 410, San Diego, CA intends to award a Brand Name Limited Sources procurement to the OEM (Cornell-Carr Co.Inc) or the authorized distributor (Triman Industries), for PriFly windows in support of the USS AMERICA (LHA-6). This contract action is for procurement of supplies. The Government plans to compete the requirement with the two vendors capable of providing these specific PriFly windows. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b); only one responsible source and no other supplies satisfy the requirement. This notice of intent to award is limited to the two specific vendors for competitive price quotes. A determination by the Government not to request quotes was made and responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (30-JUL-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
