Description
The combined synopsis solicitation 36C10E20Q0011 is amended to answer vendor questions as follows. 1: Question: Section 5.3.1  What is the frequency of the tree pruning?   1: Answer: Mature trees will need trimming from top to bottom as needed to maintain approximately 3 feet away from buildings. Small trees and shrubs, as required if encroaching on sidewalk. 2: Question: Section 5.4.1  What is the frequency of the pine straw application? 2: Answer: The requirement is to maintain the current in-place mulch at a level of approximate 3 inches. No mulch is required for areas that currently do not have mulch in-place. There is no requirement to specifically apply pine straw. 3: Question: The previous contract was for 8 months and no winter service.   The new bid calls for a 12-month service.   What will be the required frequency during the winter months?   What will be the maintenance requirements during the winter months?   3: Answer: The frequency of services required is every other week from March through October and one service at the beginning of November and one service at end of February. Services shall be provided during a mutually agreed upon week day from Monday through Friday. The November and February service shall be the same as the other months. 4: Question: Will leaf removal be required? 4: Answer: No. The mulching blade process is acceptable to remove leaves. Residual should not impede growth or look unkept and should be removed if excessive. 5: Question: Section 1.1 refers to an area that will need to be de-iced.   What will trigger a de-icing event?   When a de-icing event has taken place will this be billed separately, or will it be included in the monthly services? 5: Answer: No, de-icing services are not required. 6: Question: Section 5.7.1  If an area is required to have new material, will this material be billable separately from the contract? 6: Answer: No, the contractor shall provide new material at no additional cost to the government to repair areas the contractor damaged. There are no other changes.
