Description
Compressed Gases, Liquids, and Rental Services for US EPA, Region 10, Laboratory, Port Orchard, Washington. Amendment 2: Answers Contractor Questions 1) Q: Please clarify if "CF" is interpreted as "billable cubit feet", i.e. per 100/CCF? A: Billable cubic feet. 2) Q: Is there a format for Past Performance Questionnaires reference on Page 1 "The Government will utilize past performance questionnaires when no CPARs record is available" A: No format. If your company has no CPARs record, please provide three (3) references of work similar to that requested in this Request for Quote. The work must have been completed within the past three (3) years. Provide name and address of business, a point of contact, phone number, email address. List the service completed and when the service was completed. 3) Q: Is overall delivery to a consolidated location (for example one receiving dock) or to different locations, and if so, how many delivery locations internal to the Lab(s) for Compressed gases and/or Liquid Dewars? A: One loading dock for cylinders, one dewar for argon and a separate dewar for nitrogen. 4) Q: NITROGEN: CLIN 0002 is clear, 2,000 CF of gas (22 PSI), yet CLIN 0006 which is 350,000 CF of Liquid is a considerable difference. Please clarify what the storage and pressure requirements are for CLIN 0006 are? Furthermore, is there a microbulk storage tank utilized for CLIN 0006 and if so, is it GOV Owned or provided by the contractor - which there no rental CLIN under MISC (CLINs 0011 & 0012) if a microbulk is provided by the Contractor? A: Nitrogen is used in both high pressure cylinders (EPA owned) and liquid EPA owned Dewars, (2000 liters and 200 liters). Liquid is specified in gas volume equivalent. 5) Q: Is rental for CLINS 0011 and 0012 consolidated monthly rental quantities? A: Yes NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (30-JUL-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
