- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLC), Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a single award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with Firm-Fixed-Price provisions. The instant requirement will utilize the policies and procedures under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition for Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 488190 and the size standard is $32.5 Million. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 31 July 2019 under Request for Quotation number N0018919Q0410 at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fbo.gov. This requirement is to inspect, assess, return and/or maintain the material condition of static display aircraft in as near original configuration as possible, and render them safe for public display on behalf of the National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM), part of the Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC). Services are anticipated to be rendered in the following states: Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. The anticipated period of performance is a two (2) year ordering period with the option to extend services up to an additional six (6) months in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. The period of performance is anticipated to begin 29 August 2019. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above websites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will self-certify that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contract from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendor for work to be performed outside the United States.
