Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in support of the Spokane VA Healthcare System, is performing market research to compile data regarding the available brands and manufacturers of Infusion Pumps. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate procurement method. Respondents should clearly describe how their pumps meet the salient characteristics. The NAICS code assigned is: 339112 The small business standard is 1,000 employees. The non-manufacturer rule does apply. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future or potential solicitation, or Request for Quotation. It is the intent of the Spokane VA Healthcare System to use the information gathered for market research purposes only. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: Contractor shall provide Infusion Pumps equal to BD Alaris, characteristics below. All equipment shall be delivered to the Spokane VA Medical Center, 4815 N Assembly St., Spokane, WA 99205. The projected performance period is 60 days ARO; however, these dates may be adjusted based upon actual date of award. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size i.e. SDVOSB, VOSB, 8A, etc., and DUNS Number. Proof of SAM (formerly CCR) Registration and Vet Biz registry (if applicable) is highly desirable. Identify all Joint Ventures and other Teaming arrangements. Product literature demonstrating that produce meets the salient characteristics. Comparative information showing competing brands, manufacturers and models that highlights operational differences. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Salient Characteristics for Infusion Pumps On Cerner approved interface list Capable of communicating with National VA drug library Bi-directional communication to upload infusion information into the patient record Capable of having information sent to the PCA and LVP units and uploading that information into the patient record in Cerner Include any additional hardware necessary for the installation and implementation of the solution if necessary Include any additional interface development requirements with Cerner if necessary Flow Range 0.1-999 mL/hr Increments 0.1 (0.1-99.9 mL/hr) 1 (10-999 mL/hr) KVO rate 0.1-20 (0.1 mL increments) Alarms and indicators for the following: Occlusion upstream and downstream Air in line System malfunction Set loaded improperly Door open Infusion complete Low battery Depleted battery Audible alarm with volume control and momentary silence Has dose error reduction system Library size at least 9500 At least 25 care areas Wireless capable with FIPS 140-2 compliance Auto documentation Auto programming Has RS232, RJ45 and wireless data port Capable of event logging Battery life of at least 5 hours at flow rate of 25mL/hr Recharge time less than 4.5 hours @ 95% Capable of connecting up to 4 channels to run multiple infusions concurrently NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-AUG-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
