- Amendment 2 transmits a revised wage determination (Attachment 3b), a filtration system approved equal (Attachment 4), and extends the due date to 1400 on August 13, 2019. Amendment 1 transmits site visit information and a revised wage determination (Attachment 3a). Request for Quotations #140P8319Q0051 is for demolition and replacement of the existing water treatment system, chemical injection system, and other appurtenances that support the visitor center water treatment system. The Contractor shall provide all materials, installation and management labor, transportation, insurance, bonds, administrative and other services to complete the proposed project. PROJECT LOCATION: Spalding visitor center of Nez Perce National Historical Park (NHP) north of Lapwai, Idaho. Information about the park is at www.NPS.gov/NEPE. SITE VISIT: A group site visit will occur on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 10:00 am. Attendance at the site visit is strongly encouraged (not mandatory). Requests for individual hosted site visits will not be honored. TARGET WORK DATES: The contractor will have 120 days after issuance of the notice to proceed (NTP) to bring the project to substantial completion. DETAILS: The NAICS code for this project is 237110 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million, average annual gross receipts for the past three years. All work will be performed under a single firm-fixed-price construction contract subject to the Contract Wage (Construction) Statute. Stated in the range established by FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance and payment bonds will be required if contract value exceeds $150,000 (performance bond will not be required if contract value is under $150,000). All eligible responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the National Park Service, however quoters who have not established and/or maintained an active registration at www.SAM.gov prior to the due date and time will be considered either ineligible or non-responsive and will not be considered for award. Liability insurance will be required prior to contract performance. Vendors can search for opportunities and award history on www.fbo.gov without registering. The Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) website has an Interested Vendors List where you can add your company's interest. Registering provides the opportunity to receive notifications; this is a tool of convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Prospective offerors will be required to visit www.FBO.gov periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents; no other notifications will be sent. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued.
