The NAVAUDSVC achieves this mission by conducting internal audits of Navy and Marine Corps activities, systems, and functions to determine whether planned and budgeted program results are being achieved; to assess compliance with applicable laws and directives; and to determine whether resources are being used effectively and efficiently. Audits help management identify risks and arrive at solutions to problems; devise better ways of doing business; and deter fraud, waste, and abuse. The mission of the Naval Audit Service (NAVAUDSVC) is to upgrade the VTC equipment located in the Auditorium with new audio-visual (AV) equipment and increase the auditorium ™s AV capabilities. In addition, it is imperative to improve the VTC equipment located in the Divisible Training Room with new AV equipment and increase its capabilities. Video teleconferencing is essential for various day-to-day communication efforts for the NAVAUDSVC. Additionally, it is essential for NAVAUDSVC to outfit six (6) conference rooms with new AV equipment. The Auditorium, Divisible Training Room, and conference rooms are used for multiple purposes including, but not limited to, training classes, conferences and meetings, VTCs, and ATCs. The subject conference rooms are located at multiple sites, Washington, DC (Auditorium, Divisible Training Room, and 4 conference rooms), San Diego, CA (1 conference room), and Norfolk, VA (1 conference room). The NAVAUDSVC is geographically dispersed, and VTC allow our staff to conduct visual meetings internally as well as externally with commands that would otherwise be done in person. VTC capability provides our staff the ability to share information and collaborate remotely, maximizing efficiencies including reduced travel time and costs, increased comradery and productivity, and improved communication in comparison to phone teleconferencing only. 2.1 The NAICS for this requirement is 541690. 2.2 Delivery Period: FY19 “ FY20 3.0 Requested Information Venders possessing the requisite skills, resources, and capabilities necessary to provide the aforementioned services are invited to respond to this market research survey/RFI via a submission of an executive summary, no more than three (3) pages in length.
