- Acquity Classic UPLC Instrumentation for the MLV and use of LIB 4643 method for Colors Analysis at Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Northeast Food and Feed Laboratory (NFFL) and Southeast Food and Feed Laboratory (SFFL) to support FDA for Color Analysis in food and cosmetic samples, identical instrumentation is needed in each participating field laboratory that is capable and optimized for performing this technique. Use of this method for Color Analysis is needed due to its increased sensitivity and accuracy over traditional techniques, and to keep up with emerging trends in industry such as the use of novel and potentially harmful color additives that are appearing in food and cosmetic products. This is being solicited as a brand name or equivalent requirement. The Contractor shall provide two new Waters brand (or equivalent) Acquity Classic UPLC Core Systems. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed-price purchase order as result of this solicitation. Please see the attached RFQ for complete requirement details and quotation submission instructions.
