Description

Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to Lantheus Medical Imaging for Definity, Perflutren Lipid Microspheres. Definity is an injectable cardiovascular contrast agent comprised of lipid coated echogenic microbubbles used to enhance the clinicians' view of the left ventricle of the heart during an echocardiogram. Definity helps the ultrasound portray a sharper image of the heart to aid with diagnosis Award will be made on or about 19 August 2019. The NAICS code for the requirement is 325412 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
