Description
This will be an open market SDVOSB/ VOSB Set-Aside. Estimated Time Frame of RFP posting will be 9-2-18. Professional preventive maintenance and repair of Barcode Medical Carts (BCMA) throughout VISN 7. Contractor shall perform task directly related to the routine maintenance, repair and parts for BCMA carts not covered under warranty. The Contractor must be an authorized reseller from the manufacture Howard to service the barcode medication carts. Services shall include: A. On site repair of carts B. Remote support to assist in problem diagnosis to determine if on-site support is essential C. On site top to bottom preventive maintenance to include functionality test: Preventative Maintenance is to be performed bi-annually at the same time as the schedule bi-annual battery refresh. 1. Lift Arm raises up and down 2. Keyboard tray slides in an out 3. Mouse Pad is functional 4. Caster function properly 5. Cart is charging 6. Work Surface 7. PC Physical Security check 8. Pill Drawer Security check 9. Total Electronic check 10. Security lock checks 11. Review and restock of spare parts kit 12. Compete site report of preventive maintenance check and all repairs or replacements made during the visit VISN 7 encompasses all VA hospitals and community-based outpatient clinics in Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina Contractor responsibilities include receiving initial call from end user and open Service Ticket with required information. Information for the cart requiring support will include: 1. Point of contact name 2. Phone number 3. Address and location of cart 4. Hospital 5. Unit 6. Howard Cart Serial Number The anticipated workflow of the cart repair process is as follows: When a cart malfunctions, the user will contact the equipment custodian or BIOMED representative. Once the representative/custodian determines that the cart requires Contractor support and or repair they will submit a service ticket through Maximo program and contact the Contractor at a number provided by the Contractor. If the Contractor determines that an on-site repair is required, the Contractor has no more that one business day to report to the site to conduct the repair. The Contractor is responsible for providing all parts necessary to complete the repair of the cart during that on-site visit. At the completion of the service call, the Contractor will document the work completed and provide information to the designated equipment custodian assigned/BIOMED primary contact at each facility.
