Description

This solicitation will contain one NSN for an PISTON, LANDING GEAR, Y9N [WSDC]/ AIRCRAFT, FA-18, A-D, E/F, G (GLOWLER). A Letter Request for Proposal (RFP) will be solicited for award of a firm fixed price contract. The original equipment manufacturer and only approved source is THE BOEING COMPANY, Cage 76301; PN 74A400606-1005. This procurement is unrestricted. The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN 1620-014708689, quantity 45 each, no option quantity. The delivery schedule is 22 days ARO. FOB: Origin; Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. THIS IS A NAVY IDENTIFIED CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM (CSI). This is a proprietary item to Boeing Company coded 3C. The Government intends to place firm-fixed price, against BOA- SPE4A1-19-G-0013. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with (IAW) 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), other than full and open competition. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
