- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and all other items and services for the re-decoration, re-carpeting, renovation, and construction within the tower cab and on the landing outside the cab's stairwell door. RAF Lakenheath, IP27 9PN. Contractor shall be responsible for the supply, installation, removal/disposal of existing carpeting and debris. Coordination with RAF Lakenheath Radar Airfield Weather Systems (RAWS) will be accomplished prior to removal/disposal of existing/legacy equipment. The Contractor is encouraged to work within the below phased timeline [RNLSUU4C1]. 48 OSS/OSAT personnel will continue to perform duties on regular hours, throughout the performance of work. The preferred phases of work are outlined below. An alternative phase plan may be proposed and is subject to approval by the requiring activity, upon contract award. The plan must cause minimal disruption to personnel and regular duty functions. Contractor shall conform to all requirements listed in the statement of work. The contractor shall also comply with local laws regarding disposal of old construction materials, equipment, and debris.
