- FBO NCO15 MATOC SUBCONTRACTING SPECIAL NOTICE THIS INFORMATION IS POSTED FOR SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES ONLY. PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY FIRMS OTHER THAN THE NINE (9) PREVIOUSLY SELECTED NCO15 CG CATEGORY II MATOC CONTRACTORS ONLY. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE POSTED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THEREFORE, FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. IDIQ TASK ORDER FOR THE Project Number 589-17-182 Construct Hybrid Operating Room at Kansas City VAMC. This project is the build out of approximately 1,930 SF of shell space in the surgery suite at the Kansas City VAMC to become a Hybrid Operating Room, Control Room, Scrub Alcove, Sterile Storage, and Equipment Room. The Operating room will have a resinous flooring with integral base, stainless steel wall panels, and the ceiling will be gypsum wallboard with epoxy paint, and with a clean suite ceiling system over the operatory area. The adjacent surgery spaces are operational and will need to remain so for the duration of the project. Detailed construction phasing will be developed to allow for operations. New structural framing is required for support of the Hybrid OR equipment, as well as for a new Air Handling Unit to be installed on the roof. Medical Gases will be installed to accommodate new procedures in the room. An exterior lift will be provided to access the 5th floor without moving through the adjacent areas within the Surgery suite. Due to the new Air Handling Unit on the roof, the Photovoltaic panel array is required to be reconfigured. The affected panels will be removed and stored for future reinstallation.
