- This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. Should potential offerors believe they have an equivalent tool/service, respond to this notice by submitting written capabilities/specifications of the commercial product and/or service to the Contracting Officer at the email address provided. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responses received by the deadline located in this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government whether a competitive procurement is feasible may be based upon responses to this notice and is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received by the deadline to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an award will be negotiated with ForcePoint against their Basic Ordering Agreement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective described in the attached J&A. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (12-AUG-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
