- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9, on behalf of the James H. Quillen VAMC, is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for the anticipated issuance of solicitation number 36C24919Q0381. Said solicitation is intended to illicit proposals for non-emergent transportation services at the TVHS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for solicitation number 36C24919Q0381 will be 811219. NAICS 811219 s size standard is $20.5 million dollars. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), all prospective offerors must have an active SAM's registration at the time quotes are received and at the time of award. Background: The James H. Quillen VAMC has a need for a preventative maintenance contract for BD Alaris modules listed below: System ID System Name BD Alaris PC Unit 8015 LS BD Alaris LVP Unit Module 8100 BD Alaris Syringe Module 8110 BD Alaris PCA Module 8120 BD Alaris EtCO2 Module 8300 This requirement is set for full and open competition. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to award any award being made. Scope of Work: The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement for a service contract on BD Alaris modules. This will be awarded as a base plus four (4) option year, firm-fixed-price contract. Contractor will provide repair services and, if necessary, install replacement parts (collectively, repair services ) to cause inoperable equipment to perform in accordance with the material specifications of the equipment original equipment manufacturer (OEM), in order to ensure optimal working condition and lessen the likelihood of down time. Contractor will deliver repaired equipment freight paid to Customer s facility. It is required that service personnel are factory trained and certified on the BD Alaris Modules listed below in the EQUIPMENT section. Training and certification documentation must be available. EQUIPMENT: Equipment to be serviced and/or maintained includes, but is not limited to: (Equipment is located at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN) System ID System Name BD Alaris PC Unit 8015 LS BD Alaris LVP Unit Module 8100 BD Alaris Syringe Module 8110 BD Alaris PCA Module 8120 BD Alaris EtCO2 Module 8300 Prospective Offerors must obtain copies of solicitation documents from FedBizOpps (FBO), which will be available on or about August 13, 2019. By registering at FBO (http://www.fedbizopps.gov), offerors will have access to downloading all available attachments. Offerors must be registered in SAM and have a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number to download documents. By registering for the Register to Receive Notification list at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, you will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Potential offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging any amendments to the solicitation. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 12 and in conjunction with Simplified Acquisition Procedures Far Part 13.
