- 9. DESCRIPTION: NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for various fasteners. The package will consist of nuts, bolts, screws, caps, etc. This acquisition will be a single award (must quote all items to be considered) Lowest price technically acceptable with the best delivery will be considered first. The requirement will be FOB origin using WSS/FACTSP for shipping. No shipping costs will be incurred by the offerors. This requirement to be solicited on a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, commercial basis, under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. Award under this procurement will be made to the technically acceptable offeror which provides the best value to the Government, past performance, price and delivery will be considered. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about 15 August 2019 with proposals due by 22 August 2019. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by NAVSUP FLC PS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed. Emailed or faxed completed solicitations are acceptable. Must notify KO via email if your offer is faxed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes via NECO is not available at this time.
