Description

NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is issuing this Sources Sought announcement for market research and planning purposes in order to determine the interest and capabilities of potential qualified companies. This is not a Request for Proposal. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. The results of this market research may contribute to the possible development of the Government's requirement and in determining the method of procurement. Description of Requirement: NASA KSC requires Fujinon Brand Name or Equal Line Item 1: UA80x9BESM-E Digital 1.2 UHDTV HDR Lens with SS-EPA Full Servo Controls and ELH-112-35A Support Bracket •Digi 1.2x UHDTV HDR lens •Focal Length 9-720mm Zoom Lens for 2/3" Cameras. With Extender: 18 to 1440mm •16-Bit Encoders with Lens Data Output •80x Zoom Ratio •Built-In 1.2x and 2x Extenders. 1.2x extender to attain the required focal length while minimizing loss of light through glass. •Fast f/1.7 Maximum Aperture at 9-350mm •4K+ Resolution Imaging •High Contrast & Dynamic Range •Optical Image Stabilization •Floating Focus System •9-Blade Iris for Rounded Bokeh •Ultra High Definition ground/polished glass •High Dynamic Range capable lens coatings •Angle of view 16:9 Wide: 5.1 x 33.33° (H x V) Tele: 0.77 x 0.43° (H x V) 16:9 With 1.2x Extender Wide: 47.88 x 28° (H x V) Tele: 0.63 x 0.35° 16:9 With 2x Extender Wide: 29.83 x 17.03° (H x V) Tele: 0.38 x 0.22° •ELH-112-35A Support Bracket, The support bracket is required in order to mount the UA80x9BESM-E lens to the camera system. The base of the support bracket easily mounts to all Pan and Tilt heads. The ELH dimensions are 19.5x18x12 inches. •SS-EPA Full Servo Controls w/ Special EPA-22 Focus Controller Full servo kit with unique focus demand (EPA-22), maintains the look and feel of a manual control, within the full servo control system. The SS-EPA controls the zoom and focus on the UA80x9BESM-E lens. These items are needed in order to zoom and focus the lens.
