REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. REQUIREMENT: This Sources Sought is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Department of Veterans Affairs to identify potential sources and indicate if future efforts can be competitive or Set Aside for Small Business. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 325413 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 1250 employees and the and the PSC Code is 6550. This request is for a base year (10/1/19 9/30/20) and four option years. This Sources Sought notifies vendors that the VA VISN 4 is seeking qualified sources for the acquisition of Fecal Occult Blood Immunoassay equipment, reagents, controls and other items described in this notice. These services are to include the following: SCOPE: The Pathology & Laboratory Medicine departments of VISN 4 need a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for an automated fecal occult blood analyzer to perform testing on our patient population. The contractor shall provide all equipment, reagents, standards, controls, supplies, consumables, parts, accessories and any other item required for the proper operation of its contractor-owned automated fecal occult blood analyzer and the generation of results on a Cost per Test (CPT) basis. Contractor shall provide items in this notice to the following VA Medical Centers: - VA Pittsburgh Medical Center, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 - Erie VA Medical Center, 135 E 38th St, Erie, PA 16504 - Corporal Michael J Crescenz VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104 PRICING SCHEDULE: Cost Per Test Basis: Refers to a pricing arrangement intended to allow the ordering facility to generate a single patient test result for a given test. The CPT pricing includes the cost of reagents, related products (e.g. latex reagent, calibration, controls, consumables and one (1) collection device.) Excludes components for mailing of samples to the testing facility. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: - The vendor(s) shall furnish all clinical laboratory supplies, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the performance of the work as described herein to the VISN 4. The historical annual volume cited shall be utilized by interested contractors to submit their cost proposal. - A listing of estimated yearly quantities required by the VISN is located in Attachment 1 (Test Volumes). Quantities are estimates based upon prior history of actual volumes and are intended to provide the potential contractor a basis for calculating their pricing. They are not a guaranteed minimum. - Vendors shall provide the VISN with Food and Drug Administration (FDA)- approved analyzer/equipment, reagents, controls, calibrators/standards, mailing system for mailing/transport, disposables, and any consumable part necessary for analyzing/testing.
