Description: REQUEST FOR QUOTATION 140P6219Q0039 - BUFF Roof Replacements at Buffalo National River, Harrison, AR. Documents in the solicitation include: - 1442 Form, Solicitation, Offer and Award Form with Clauses and Provisions - Attachment 1, BUFF Roof Replacements Statement of Work - Attachment 2, Aerial of Locations - Attachment 3, Photos of Buildings - Attachment 4, DOL Wage Determination, General Decision No. AR20190019 1/04/2019 - Attachment 5, Quoter's Price Schedule - Attachment 6, Technical and Financial Capability Statement - Attachment 7, Past Performance - Attachment 8, Instructions for Submission of Quotation ________________________ The Contractor is to furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and other items and services necessary to remove asphalt shingles from nine (9) structures and replace and install approximately 76 squares (combined total) of high grade 30-year architectural shingles to those nine (9) structures. The project encompasses 5 buildings in the Upper District and 4 buildings in the Lower District of Buffalo National River, in outlying areas of Harrison, Arkansas. UPPER DISTRICT - Locations are spread across the entire upper portion of Buffalo National River between Ponca and Pruitt on gravel road surface. Travel time between locations range from 15 to 30 minutes. LOWER DISTRICT - Locations are all within the Buffalo Point Campground on paved road surface. Travel time between location is no more than 5 minutes. All work required by the project documents to successfully and satisfactorily complete the work in its entirety, will be performed by the Contractor, to include minor items/services that may not be specifically mentioned in the project documents. ________________________ TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a single firm-fixed price construction contract and expected to be awarded early to mid-September 2019 time frame. Award will be made to only one successful quoter. Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages will apply. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance will be forty-five (45) calendar days from the date the Notice to Proceed is received by the Contractor. The forty-five (45) calendar days also include final government inspection, completion of punch list items, and final cleanup by Contractor of the contract site. Work of the contract is to begin within ten (10) calendar days after the Contractor has received the Notice to Proceed. MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $25,000 and $100,000. BONDING: In accordance with FAR Part 28, should the contract exceed $35,000 but not exceed $150,000, the Contractor will, within ten (10) calendar days after contract award, provide a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit (ILC). The payment bond or the amount of alternative payment protection must equal 100 percent (100%) of the original contract price.
