- The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Advanced Technologies of Southwest Florida located at 8805 Tamiami Trail N.#159, Naples, FL 34108 for Meters that will be used to support operations. The Meters are proprietary to Advanced Technologies of Southwest Florida. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207(c) (16) (ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements may submit a capabilities statement which shall be considered by the agency. In accordance with FAR Part 13, the Government intends to issue a single firm fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with the FAR, the Justification for Sole Source will be posted 14 days after the award. This requirement is set aside for Small Business only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. Questions are due back on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 10:00am EST. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Responses to this notice shall be submitted electronically to Kevin.Bindus@usdoj.gov no later than Aug 23, 2019 at 10:00am EST.
