Description
New-Temple VA Auto Door Service (VA-19-00082297) The contractor shall provide all management, tools, material, equipment and labor necessary to tighten, adjust, clean, lubricate and inspect the Automatic doors, controllers and sensors on a total of One Hundred Thirty-Nine (139) exterior and interior at Buildings 163, 204, 202, and 221. All work shall be performed at the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center at 1901 Veterans Memorial Dr, Temple, TX 76504. The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirements within this contract. All work under this contract shall be installed to ADA Standards. Equipment shall meet or exceed the current ANSI A156.19-2013 standards. Work MUST be accomplished by an American Association of Automatic Doors Manufacturers (AAAADM) Certified Inspector. REPAIRS: The contractor shall perform corrective repairs as needed on the automatic doors (IAW) industry standards and the manufacturer s instructions, to return the automatic doors to full operating condition. The contractor shall be capable of providing replacement parts for all automatic doors on the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center in Temple, TX. The repairs are to be initiated by service call request placed to the contractor by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The contractor shall respond to normal service request within 24 hours to access the requirement. The contractor shall schedule work within 4 hours if notification for each request. During the service calls, the contractor shall address all, but not limited to the following items to ensure the doors are in proper working order a. Inspect doors to determine the appropriate repair and functionality. b. The Contractor shall provide inspection labels at each door. c. The Contractor shall use the manufacture s parts or meet equal quality and specification if manufacture s parts are not available. d. The Contractor shall use approved lubricants. e. The Contractor shall not leave a door unsecured. f. The Contractor shall complete a repair within 15 days of the notification. g. The Contractor shall provide documentation of deficiencies and pricing for repairs.
