- Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide maintenance & repairs on the BD AFFIRM Micro Probe Processor as described below that will not interrupt the continuum of care. This requirement is defined primary by existing hardware already in use at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV 25704. BACKGROUND The BD AFFIRM provides rapid direct specimen DNA probe-based diagnostic test for the differential detection and identification of the causative agents for vaginitis: Candida species, Gardnerella vaginalis and Trichomonas vaginalis. SCOPE The contractor will provide: Unlimited Toll Free Telephone Support and Web Self Service 24x7x365 for BD AFFIRM MICRO PROBE PROCESSOR and exchanged with same make and model calibrated to manufactures specifications if service or parts needed.. DELIVERABLES Turn-around time 2 business days. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center 1540 Spring Valley Drive Huntington, WV 25704 TRAVEL N/A CLASSIFICATION/SECURITY Unclassified. Security clearance is not required. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY None.
