- The Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing Cross Functional Team (APNT CFT) is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The APNT CFT is looking for companies to present Information Papers for Inertial Measurement Units (IMU)/Inertial Navigation Units (INU) and associated Inertial Navigation System (INS) technologies. This market research will examine developmental concepts, emerging concepts, current concepts, and materiel capabilities in IMU/INU/INS technologies to identify promising innovative systems or techniques. The purpose of the market research is to identify potential technologies that can provide air, ground, or space based IMU/INU/INS capabilities that will enhance or revolutionize beyond the current systems available. The Government plans to take inputs from industry, assess the technologies, and utilize this research to shape future requirements.
