Description

This acquisition is conducted under the authority of Multiple Award Schedule Program (Title III of the Federal Properfy and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (41 U.S.C.251, et. seq). Authority to limit competition to less than those required by FAR 6.302 is found at FAR 6.302-1. This justification to sole source is attached. This is a notice of intent to award other than full and open competition. This is not a request for quotes. The government intends to make an award for reference to Cerus Corporation for delivery date of 03 Sep 2019 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. SPECIAL NOTIFICATION OF INTENT The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not ot compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: The Government reserves the right to award on an all or none basis. Please see RFQ N00183-19-Q-0147 for details. Please include a copy of two redacted invoices with your quote. This information will be used for the purpose of determining price reasonableness and kept in the contract file. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (22-AUG-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
