- Description
- The purpose of this special notice is to satisfy the requirement at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.402(f) to publicize the addition of items not on the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) (open market items) in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) requires design, fabrication, and installation of 16 rows of modular, adjustable pallet racking in portions of Supply Warehouse #1, Building 369 at Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island, WA. The completion date for installation is 30 December 2019. There are 24 sections per row of adjustable racking with a total of 2,304 shelves (pallets). The modular racking requires seismic bracing/anchoring, column and end protectors. Each pallet is required to have a 2,000 pound weight capacity. FLC Puget Sound intends to solicit and award a firm, fixed price competitive order under GSA contracts for the required supplies. GSA RFQ1390728 Open Market Items Include; Rack Anchoring Kit, Start and Add-on Cross brace Hardware kit Shim Warning Sign Installation Manual Column Protector, Front and End, Yellow Part numbers and Quantity is dependent on the system proposed in response to the Statement of Work.
