Description
Per GSAR 570.402 procedures. In support of the VA Readjustment Counseling Service Office, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO4) intends to conduct the acquisition of leased office space for the Northeast Philadelphia PA Veterans Center utilizing other than full and open competition procedures. The existing lease expires on 2/1/2020. The requirement is for 2356 net usable square feet (NUSF) of office space with adequate parking and within walkable distance of mass transit stops, among other factors. The space shall be configured to house a Veterans Center which provides for Veteran s readjustment after military service. Current boundaries of the area are; Beginning at the intersection of Rising Sun Ave. and Adams Ave., go north on Rising Sun Ave. to Verree Rd. Continue on Verree Rd. and turn left on Bustleton Ave. Follow Bustleton Ave. until you meet Byberry Rd. where you will make a right. Turn left on Roosevelt Blvd and then quickly turn right on Woodhaven Rd. That will take until you to Academy Rd., where you will turn right. Continue on Academy Rd. to Holme Ave. Turn right on Holme Ave. and follow to the Roosevelt Blvd. and turn left. The Roosevelt Blvd. will take you back to Adams Ave., where you will turn right and that will take you back to the starting point at Rising Sun Ave. This acquisition is being pursued as a two (2) year extension until Government can find new space in the same area delineated above. It is expected the acquisition for new space will be conducted utilizing full and open competition. This is not a request for quotations, bids, or proposals. Any costs incurred by potential vendors reviewing or responding to this notice shall not be reimbursed by the Government. A solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. Responses, due August 30, 2019, should include Vendor size status per FAR Part 19 if applicable. The Government POC is Herb Byrns at Herbert.byrns@va.gov.
