Description: U.S. or foreign flag, Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO/RO) or combination Roll-On/Roll-Off, Lift-On/Lift-Off (RO/RO-LO/LO), self-sustaining vessel(s) (multiple awards up to 3 vessels) capable of carrying a portion of 332,247 square feet of military cargo (wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, and breakbulk). Minimum capacity (measured in square feet) for multiple vessel award, each vessel shall be capable of stowing a minimum of 100,000 square feet of cargo from the cargo list. Vessel(s) must be capable of maintaining 15 knots while laden. 17. The place/range of delivery is San Diego, CA (USA) and redelivery is Ash Shuaiba, Kuwait. The layday commences and cancels 06 September 2019 for a single vessel or the first of a multiple ship solution, 09 September 2019 for the second vessel of a multiple ship solution, and 12 September 2019 for the third of a multiple ship solution. The charter period is about 45 days for each awarded charter. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as "Unrestricted" is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
