- Description
- The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, on behalf of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), intends to purchase of WTI brand CPM and DSM console servers with PDU management from Western Telematic Inc (WTI). The NAICS code is 334210. The Contracting Officer has determined that WTI is the only source that can reasonably meet the TIGTA's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The proposed Contractor developed and owns the propriety and patented hardware (see attached), software and algorithms that are used in these products and support the services specifically required for this acquisition. Thereby the proposed source has the sole unique technical and other resources required to meet this requirement. WTI's proprietary product supports TIGTA's need for continuity of operations of providing a one device out of band support to all duty stations.
