- Description
- Rehabilitate Interior and Exterior Masonry Walls at Mission San Jose Convento, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. This contract will include all or selected elements of the following work at the Mission San Jose Convento ruins: - Stabilizing and/or repairing walls. - Adding or replacing cement mortar caps to preserve masonry (stone) work and historic plasters. - Repointing masonry (stone) walls. - Cleaning and preservation of historic plasters, including scratch coat. - Removal (cleaning) of biological growth as needed to support the work above and in general if funding permits. This scope of work lays out the general requirements and work locations included in this contract. The actual work shall following the recommendations and guidelines set out in the Historical Structure Report (HSR) for the Mission San Jose Convento (Atch 1). Specific proposals, techniques, materials, etc., shall be approved by the Park before work commences. The Contractors shall provide the Park, a detailed work plan that details the methodology, techniques, materials, etc., they intend to utilize to accomplish the required work. The work plan will be reviewed and modified by the Contractor as required prior to final approval and issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed (NTP). All work, terms and conditions, clauses and provisions, as stated in solicitation 140P1319R0002, with all attachments, is herein expressly incorporated into this contract.
