Description
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this notice is 334220 “ Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment, Size Standard 1,250 employees, Product Service Code 5820 “ Radio and Television Communication Equipment. NAVSUP FLC Philadelphia intends to solicit on other than full and open competition basis for Base Station Maintenance of Oceus Network 4G LTE Communication system for the Joint Staff, J6. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of FAR 13.501(a). The government intends to solicit and negotiate with Oceus Networks, who holds the proprietary information for their software and communication system equipment, on a sole source basis. The requirement is for annual software maintenance for Oceus Network 4G LTE Communication System, providing both maintenance and software upgrades for existing applications installed at Joint Staff, J6. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within two days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely with the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the contents of this announcement will not be sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party.
