Description: U.S. or foreign flag, Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO/RO) or combination Roll-On/Roll-Off, Lift- On/Lift-Off (RO/RO-LO/LO), self-sustaining vessel(s) (multiple awards up to 3 vessels) capable of carrying a portion of the 472,981 square feet requirement which consists of military cargo (wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, and breakbulk); strict LO/LO vessels are not acceptable. Minimum capacity (measured in square feet) of 100,000 square feet of cargo from the cargo list. Vessel(s) must be capable of maintaining 15 knots while laden. 17. The place/range of delivery is Jacksonville, FL (USA) and redelivery is Beaumont, TX (USA). The layday commences and cancels 25 September 2019 for a single vessel or the first of a multiple ship solution, 28 September 2019 for the second vessel of a multiple ship solution, and 01 October 2019 for the third of a multiple ship solution. The charter period is about 57 days for each awarded charter. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as "Unrestricted" is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
