- Page 2 of 2 SOURCES SOUGHT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research through this sources sought to help determine the availability of Businesses, registered under NAICS code 334510, capable of providing compression pumps that meet or exceed the following specifications: Capable of sequential and uniform therapy Single pump that can automatically detecting garment being used without user input (i.e. no settings changes needed if swapping from a patient s foot to a thigh) Internal battery to prevent failure in power loss for up to 3 hours Distinguishing between garments and connectors during fault isolation and troubleshooting Single tube design Fixed tube set to facilitate multiple different attachments simultaneously (i.e. foot-thigh, foot-calf, calf-thigh) Has LCD Screen with patient runtime tracker, error codes Colored LEDs or other visual cue to let nurses easily know the status of the pump (i.e. running, failed, disconnected, error, etc.) Display that indicates pressure being applied in real-time Snap lock tube set connectors Capable of using 7ft and 13ft tube sets Devices will be used in a clinical setting and used to circulate blood in the deep veins of the legs, reducing venous stasis and helping to prevent the formation of DVT. If the contractor can provide the above items, the contractor shall provide a letter from the manufacturer stating they are an authorized distributor/licenser of their products. Failure to submit an authorized distributor letter shall result in the product(s) potentially offered to be considered grey market and shall NOT be considered technically acceptable. The contractor shall provide the provide the specifications of the device that they are capable of offering. Failure to do so will result in the vendor not being considered capable of meeting the VA s needs. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses.
