Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a non-competitive contract to Profound Knowledge Partners, Inc. (DUNS: 171837243) for Quality Improvement Training The IHS Office of Quality seeks to evaluate, design, redesign and implement systems for optimization of system outputs by applying the principles of a learning organization, the System of Profound Knowledge and quality improvement science methods to support the mission of IHS. The office will use the Ami TM Workshops, a training that is focused on capabilities to define, develop, test and implement improvement efforts using the science of improvement over a nine-month period through comprehensive Area wide projects. The Office of Quality will also provide the Improvement Professional Workshop (HIP) to train Indian Health Service candidates as Healthcare Improvement Professionals also known as Improvement Advisors (IA). An Organizational Assessment is also needed to evaluate the effectiveness the effectiveness of current activities that support the Office of Quality and Areas/Sites).The "System Map" process has been identified by the Office of Quality to assist with reviewing the processes within the IHS organization and how they link together (interdependently) to depict the levels of the organization that shows the linkage of processes for the whole organization and typically include three types of processes; mainstay (delivery system to the customer), support and driver processes.
