Description
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (c )(1), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to perform oral solicitations for 1 each xMark Microplate Absorbance Spectrophotometer for the Portland VAMC the 4th floor of Building 101 of the VA Medical Center, Portland, OR. This acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. If you wish to be included in this solicitation please respond electronically to wendy.duval@va.gov by 5PM PDT September 4, 2019. The contract will be awarded: o/a Monday September 16, 2019. This will be a brand name or equal to solicitation to the following Items manufactured by BioRad Technologies, xMark Microplate Absorbance Spectrophotometer has a spectral range of 200 1,000 nm, and can read standard 6- to 1,536-well microplates and custom plates. The instrument has a built-in incubator with continuous temperature display and a built-in shaker with variable mixing speed and linear or orbital mixing mode. Molecular assays are required to measure alterations in neurotoxicity markers, and a microplate is required to quantify these To be considered technically acceptable, the product must meet the minimum salient characteristics listed above. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. This procurement is for new Equipment ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All Equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201 to synopsize proposed contract actions. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
