Description
Amendment 02 is to: 1. RESCHEDULE SITE VISIT to Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 8am PST. VENDORS WISHING TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT MUST RESPOND VIA EMAIL TO tlwirth@usbr.gov BY SEPTEMBER 2, 2019 AT 3PM, PST. 2. Extend questions due date and time to September 4, at 12pm PST. 3. Extend date and time that offers are due to Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 12pm PST. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, except to facilitate the submission of electronic quotes through FedBizOpps. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a request for quote (RFQ No. 140R3019Q0121) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-95, dated 01/19/2017. (iv) This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 238290 is $15 Million. (v) The Performance Work Statement provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. (All attachments may also be found at www.fedconnect.net, by searching for the RFQ number 140R3019Q0121, using the reference number search criteria, under "Search Public Opportunities Only"). (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to remove, dispose of and replace two existing folding doors with sliding doors at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center. Please see the Performance Work Statement, as it provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. (vii) Work shall begin on or about October 15, 2019. (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items - addendum replaces the term ¿offer ¿ with ¿quote ¿ within the provision at 52.212-1. In addition to the requirements of the Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisitions provision of this solicitation, each quoter shall submit a quote in accordance with the instructions contained in this provision. (A) GENERAL QUOTATION INSTRUCTIONS (1) Vendor shall submit a firm-fixed price quote for Line item 0001 (2) Quote shall include all the costs to complete the requirements in the Performance Work Statement. (3) Submit the following information: Dun and Bradstreet Number Systems (DUNS): ______________ Contractor E-mail Address: ______________________________ (ix) Determination of award will be based on the lowest price from a responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the RFQ. (xv) A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 8am PST at Hoover Dam. All prospective contractors wishing to attend this site visit will respond to Tanya Wirth at tlwirth@usbr.gov no later than Monday, September 2, 2019 at 12pm, PST, with the name of all attendees planning to attend. Upon notification of attendance, contractors will be provided with details regarding the location of the site visit. (xvi) All questions shall be submitted via email to tlwirth@usbr.gov no later than September 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm, PST, local time to tlwirth@usbr.gov (xvii) Quotes are due no later than Thursday, September 5 at 12:00 pm, PST, local time. To tlwirth@usbr.gov. Responsible quoters are requested to submit a quote for this requirement. Quotes shall be submitted electronically via email to tlwirth@usbr.gov or through FedBizOpps/FedConnect.
