Military Sealift Command intends to award an Indefinite-Delivery Requirements Type contract with firm-fixed price task/delivery orders to the eligible vendor to provide MSC ships with worldwide field service, shop repair and parts for the MTU 20V8000M71L Main Diesels, including, but not limited to main diesels, diesel monitoring and control systems, safety devices, Engineering Operating Station panels, and engine - mounted devices on T-EPF Class Vessels at the best value to the Government. The ultimate result of this procurement is to ensure effective operation of all MTU 20V8000M71L Main Diesel Engines on T-EPFs with the intent towards effective and efficient completion of the vessels' mission requirements. •a. Unit of issue: Each •b. Destination information: Various locations CONUS and OCONUS •c. Duration of the contract period: Base and four one year option periods •d. Procedures: The resulting contract will be a sole source, firm fixed price Indefinite-Delivery Requirements type contract awarded in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, using the procedures in FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 16.5. •e.
