Description
W912EP19R0021 Amendment 0004 Project work consists of Installation of 3,225 linear feet of sheet pile (35.7 feet long, PZC-26 steel sheet pile) driven to a depth of -29.89 feet adjacent to the 3,170 foot footprint of the existing seawall. Use a vibratory or impact hammer to drive the sheet pile not more than 18" seaward of the wet face of the existing seawall. The new seawall includes an integral concrete cap at elevation of 5.7 feet, North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). The 18" offset will facilitate reconnection of two drainage culverts between the new and existing seawall. This offset will be back filled largely with select fill. A concrete plug at the northern seawall connection. An earthen plug at the southern seawall connection. Project work also includes endangered species observers, turbidity monitoring and standby time. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE OFFEROR WHO SUBMITS THE LOWEST PRICED, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE (LPTA) PROPOSAL. PROPOSALS WILL BE EVAULATED BASED ON TECHNICAL ACCEPTABILITY (DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE AND PAST PERFORMANCE) AND PRICE. The performance period is approximately 441 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NAICS Code is 237990 and the size standard is $36.5 million. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 July 2019 and proposals will be due on or about 29 August 2019.
