- Regional Procurement Office (RPO) - East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bitplane, Inc., 300 Baker Avenue, Suite 150, Concord, MA, 01742, to purchase Imaris 9.2 for Neuroscientists (FL) software for the Richard L. Roudebush Medical Center, Indianapolis. The Imaris software will be used in conjunction with light sheet microscopy to obtain detailed images of axon growth/regrowth in lesion areas of spinal cord injuries as well as studies involving tracing specific neurons in the brain and how downstream systems they control are affected post-injury and post-therapy. The following equipment will be purchased: ITEM INFORMATION ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT 0001 Imaris 9.2 for Neuroscientists (FL) The package consists of: One set of node-locked licenses for Imaris and each of the following modules: MeasurementPro,ImarisTrackLineage, ImarisColoc, ImarisXT, FilamentTracer, and ImarisVantage. The combination of FilamentTracer and ImarisTrackLineage provide the most advanced software in the automatic detection of microtubules and neurons in 2, 3 and 4D. It is ideally suited for researchers who want to visualize, detect and study relationships between various objects (i.e. filaments, dendritic spines, points, surfaces). Researchers can also automatically analyze moving objects which can divide over time (available for Surfaces and Spots representations), create a tree representation for the split tracks and get the quantitative information from their image data. Includes 1 year of maintenance. 1.00 EA This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
