- Amendment 1 answers solicitation questions. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Amendment 1 - The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following solicitation questions: Question 1: How tall do the T-posts need to be? Answer 1: 5.5 inches. Question 2: Do the T-posts need to be galvanized or painted? Answer 2: Painted. Question 3: How tall do the 2x2 wooden stays need to be? Answer 3: 36 inches. Question 4: Do you have a delivery by date/ on date for this? Answer 4: Delivery must be within two weeks after award. Question 5: Can you give a little more as to what type of stay you would like? Height? Is round ok? Answer 5: Wood, cedar preferred, but other species will work. 36" height. The stays must be square. Question 6: Then to confirm, no unloading equipment will be provided? Answer 6: The Government will not unload the materials. The contractor must unload all the materials. Question 7: Are the stays you staple to or run the wire through? Answer 7: Staple, which is why square is needed. (End of Amendment 1) (1) The solicitation number is 1204R419Q0058. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) parts 12 & 13. (2) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-04. (3) This requirement is set-aside for small businesses under NAICS code 332618 - Other Fabricated Wire Product Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS 332618 is 500 employees. (4) Schedule of items: Item 0001 - 168 rolls of barbed wire, 2-point, 12.5 gauge, galvanized (Class 1 acceptable), 4" or 5" spacing, 1320"/roll. Offloading at site by contractor. Item 0002 - 56 rolls of barbless wire, 12.5 gauge, galvanized (Class 1 acceptable), 1320"/roll. Offloading at site by contractor. Item 0003 - 4928 T-Posts, 5.5", studded, Heavy weight (1.33) (T-posts do not need to be ASTM certified). Offloading at site by contractor. Item 0004 - 2600 Wood Stays 2" x 2", 36" length, square. Offloading at site by contractor. (5) Delivery for FOB destination. Deliver items 0001-0003 to Bly Ranger District, 61100 Highway 140 E, Bly, OR 97622. Deliver item 0004 to Paisley Ranger District, 303 Highway 31, Paisley, OR 97636. Delivery of all materials must be within two weeks after award. (6) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (7) Include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with quote.
