Description
The following describes the scope of work for a service contract to rebuild a Dyno One 1000 HP, Model 070426, SN SR1000W4-4M from test cell 2A in Bldg 373 and a Midwest 1000 HP Dyno, SN 8509, discovered at the Burning Ground. The contractor shall provide all labor, travel and living expenses, equipment, transportation, repair parts, and supplies required to rebuild the two dyno. The contractor shall be responsible for picking up the two dyno from the depot and returning them to the depot after rebuild. The contractor shall disassemble the dyno and replace / repair all worn and faulty parts. All parts and fluids replaced shall be new and unused. After the rebuild is complete, the contractor shall perform thorough operational tests to ensure that the dyno are repaired and functioning satisfactorily with no unusual noises, vibrations, or leaks. Contractor shall provide a full parts and labor warranty on the dyno for a minimum of 6 months after final acceptance by the government. This means that should the dyno fail to operate during the warranty period due to the failure of components replaced or work performed during the rebuild, the contractor shall send a service technician within 48 hours with all required repair parts to return the dyno to full operation at no additional cost to the government.
