Description
J&A The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Viken Detection 330 Nevada Street Newton, Massachusetts 02460-1458. NAICS Code is 334516 and Business Size Standard is 1,000. The contractor shall provide the following: Heuresis Ph200i Lead Paint Analyzer - 1 each Soil Kit, Insitu Only - 1 each Ph2001 Extender Pole, Short, PC: 1-00159 - 1 each Shipping 2 day - 1 each Public Health Command (PHC) requires a lead paint analyzer, a primary inspection tool to determine the presence of lead-based paint in building components. Please see the attachment labeled, "A03 - J&A" for further details as to why this action is being negotiated solely with Vikon Detection. Cage Code: 7J1Y6. There are no solicitation documents; however, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going on via the web to https://www.sam.gov. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, September 9, 2019). Responses should be sumitted electronically to olga.m.hairston.civ@mail.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.
