- Contract Specialist: Alex Moller Email: Alexander.Moller@dla.mil NSN: 2530-01-252-9554 Nomenclature: CYLINDER ASSEMBLY Destination Information: Various DLA Stocking Locations Type of Set-Aside: 50% Partial Small Business Set-Aside The scope of this acquisition is for a firm-fixed price, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15; Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the procurement of National Stock Number (NSN) 2530-01-252-9554. The Government is pursuing an indefinite quantity contract, for the duration of a three-year base period and two separately priced one-year option periods. This requirement is for DLA stock support the continental United States (CONUS). At the time of solicitation there is one NSN being procured and managed by one Inventory Control Point (ICP - DLA Land and Maritime. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources using Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: R&R INDUSTRIES LTD INC (06GF2) and ENGINEERED ARRESTING SYSTEMS CORP (21439). Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on or about September 18, 2019. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. While pricing may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and socioeconomic consideration. All offers shall be in the English language and US dollars. All interested parties may submit an offer. Offers must be submitted on a hard copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP), scanned, and emailed to the Acquisition Specialist at: Alexander.Moller@dla.mil or uploaded through DIBBS.
