Description

Background The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) is responsible for carrying out the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, which Congress passed in 2009. This law commonly called the Tobacco Control Act gives us broad authority to regulate the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of tobacco products. Purpose The Southeast Tobacco Laboratory (STL) needs to purchase an onsite repair preventative maintenance and service contract for two nitrogen generators models (NM30LA-MS S/N: K10-10-068) for only one (1) year and (NM32LA S/N: A11-12-227) for a base year plus four (4) option years. The nitrogen generators are used to provide analytical quality nitrogen for advanced mass spectrometer systems. The generators are currently under contract HHSF223201710553A and due to expire on 10 Sep 2019. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-SEP-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
