Description

The Security and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Center For Internet Security for follow-on web based security benchmarks for its Office of Information Technology. Center For internet Security has an exclusive licensing agreement and is the only known vendor capable of providing the Center For Internet Securities web based subscriptions and on-line access that is required by the Commission. The period of performance for this award is September 30, 2019 through September 29, 2020 for the base year. This contract has two option years. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open Competition is 41 US.C. 3304(a)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302.1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive bids. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
