- Attachment 2 Statement of Work Attachment 1 Price Schedule SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ): FIRM-FIXED PRICE requirement for a Soil Probe and Trailer for the State of New Jersey, USDA NRCS SYNOPSIS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 12FPC119Q0051 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is being conducted as a 100% total small business set aside. The North American Classification System Code is 333111 Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard in term in number of employees, 1,250. For more information on size standards visit http://www.sba.gov/size. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. This requirement will be awarded as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12. OBJECTIVE. The USDA NRCS has a requirement to procure a Soil Probe to be used across the state of New Jersey. The NRCS anticipates that this equipment will be able to be used in a variety of conditions, including various types of soils and terrain, and in areas where there is limited access to obtain soil samples for a diversity of conservation practices. NOTE: See Attachment 2 Statement of Work (SOW) for full details. The offeror shall provide the NRCS with a Firm Fixed Price quote that is in accordance with this solicitation. See Price Schedule. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Potential Quoters are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging any and all amendments to the solicitation. It is the Offerors responsibility to view the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov, daily as no other notification of amendments will be provided on any revisions to this announcement or other notices.
