Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Agency: Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) Contract Number: M68909-19-P-7636 MCTSSA hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Turnbull LLC, a large business concern. This acquisition is to procure eight (8) command tables (3 Man 13371AK) and 17 workstations (2 Man 13371A, 2 Man 13371AB and 1 Man 13371AE) for the MCTSSA Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Afloat Integration Environment’s (MAIE) lab spaces. The sole source is based on customer’s need of this furniture as these lab spaces are built to mock actual shipboard workspaces in use for Navy to Marines systems integration. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Marine Corps. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
