Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a requirement for C-17 Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) Tool and Database (DB) Sustainment. The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a firm fixed price contract for supporting C-17 TAWS Tool and DB sustainment and maintenance, to include mandated software development and testing activities in support of fielded operational Air Mobility Command (AMC) C-17 missions. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source by a request for proposal. Period of Performance: 6 months with 2 3-month Options This RFP will be issued on a sole source basis to Jacobs Technology, Inc., CAGE 7W309, due to the fact that Jacobs is the sole C-17 TAWS Tool and DB developer and is currently the only source who can satisfy Air Force (AF) requirements. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement for consideration. Proposal shall be prepared in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The approximate RFP issuance date will be 24 September 2019, and proposal is due 25 October 2019. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at https://www.fbo.gov/ only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED, and no hard copies will be mailed out. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to wendy.creager@us.af.mil. Anticipated award is 27 November 2019.
