- F1S0AX9197B104 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Stirling Dynamics The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333318. The following will be procured as follows: F-35 Hands on Throttle and Stick Systems (HOTAS) Part Number and Description Qty CLIN 0001- P/N 032A000-001 Simulated Sticks Excluding Grips 24 CLIN 0002- P/N 033A000-001 Simulated Throttles Excluding Grips 24 CLIN 0003- P/N 9021490300-7 Essex F-35 JSF Sidestick Grip 24 CLIN 0004- P/N 9021490400-1 Essex F-35 JSF Throttle Grip 24 CLIN 0005- Rig Calibration and Maintenance 24 CLIN 0006- Freight The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than, 13 September 2019, 5:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
